Donna's Better Than Sex Cake

1 box Betty Crocker Pudding in mix yellow cake mix
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in it own juices
3/4 cup of sugar
2 packs of 3 1/2 oz. size vanilla instant pudding mix
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup flake coconut
3/4 cup toasted flake coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cook cake mix in 13 x 9 inch pan according to package directions. During the last 20 min the cake is cooking; mix pineapple, 3/4 cup of sugar, and 1 cup coconut into med saucepan; cooking over med heat about 20 min. When cake is done remove from oven and take a fork and make small holes in the cake about 1 inch apart. Spoon hot pineapple mixture over cake spreading to the edge. Cool cake completely. Hint: Best result are to let cake cool in fridge 6 hours before doing next step.
Prepare pudding mix according to directions beating until thick. Spread over entire cake to the edges. You may sprinkle some more coconut over cake at this point. In med bowl beat heavy whipping cream until peak forms. Add vanilla and confectioners sugar. Beat until stiff. Spread over entire cake to edges and sprinkle toasted coconut over cake. Cool in fridge for 12 hours before serving.
