This is Kaley (grandma). Born May 1, 1996- Passed December 17th, 2007

She is our Pride & Joy. We got Kaley in June of 96, when she was 6 weeks old. She was sweet and gentle as a lamb, letting kids climb all over her and yes even trying to ride her occasionally.  But if she sensed danger she would be very aggressive. We decided to breed Kaley in January of 2004 to a male shepherd that moved in behind us. He was a beautiful silver/ black GS, and as gentle and sweet as Kaley. Unfortunately before Kaley gave birth, the people moved and didn't get to see her pups. Kaley is desperately missed by our family.

Kane (Sire). Born March 29, 2004

Now he is very aggressive to all strangers, but he is sweet to those he knows. He loves to play and lets the kids and grandkids climb on him but he is happiest guarding those around him. He is always strutting around and when a stranger is around he kicks them back legs out a lot kicking up the dirt, acting all Macho. He is so fun to watch when he acts like that. So protective.

Kristi (Dam). Born August 30, 2004

Because of our families love of GS, my daughter  (who worked in a pet store at the Mall) called me one day from work. The store had a female who reminded her of  Kaley when she was a pup and my daughter fell in love with her. So naturally I said "Yes, you can bring her home".

Kristi is our 'funny' dog. Being from the pet store (and before that a breeder) she had never stepped foot on grass or dirt. We have had a ball teaching her how to be a dog and now she Loves to dig in the dirt. She loves playing with her mate, Kane. Of course she is also gentle, she lets the kids do anything to her. Especially my youngest son (7 years old). She thinks of him as HER pet and follows him everywhere.
